End Human Trafficking! Aruna, is a Hindi word which means ‘bright morning sun.’ It serves as a metaphor for what will be for so many who have been sold into the dark world of the sexual slave trade. Aruna is also the name of a heart moving initiative of people in Mumbai, India. It operates under the umbrella of Oasis, an international organization, to bring an end to human trafficking, specifically in the area of sexual exploitation. Aruna Girls Home, served by the Salvation Army, walks hand in hand with Oasis Aruna in Mumbai to meet the need on the ground. Oasis walks into the darkest places in the United States with its Traffick Free Communities movement.
